What to Expect?
BEGINNING
After we do introductions and the set clear intentions for what you would like to get out of your Kambo experience, hap’e, (a South American medicinal snuff consisting of powdered medicinal herbs and ash) will be served for those who are interested. After a short meditation. I will prepare the Kambo for application. You will either drink 1.5 L of water or 1/2 L of Caicuma* while the points are being prepared. The 1st point will be applied as a test point to ensure that your body is receptive and responsive to the Kambo as well as eliminating the possibility of an allergy. (Very rare)
Kambo is absorbed topically into points created via small light burns to the top layer of skin. The fresh exposed layer of skin quickly absorbs the Kambo into the lymph system. Kambo works through the lymph system and so the dots are usually placed on the ankles shoulders or chest. The burns are very light and usually fade to invisible over the course of a 3-6 months or up to a year for rare skin types
*Caicuma is a great alternative to water for Kambo and many people I sit with report they like it much better than plain water. It is easy to drink, coats the stomach and makes purging smoother. Caicuma is packed with vitamins and minerals and acts as electrolyte so overall its the perfect drink for a Kambo ceremony.

MIDDLE
Within a few minutes the Kambo will begin working and the next 10 to 20 minutes you will cleanse and purify yourself of the mental, emotional and physical baggage and toxins that you came to get rid of. Within a minute or 2 you will notice a sensation of warmth or heat. The face skin and core of the body will feel an inner heat. The heart will beat slightly faster and blood pressure will be reduced slightly. As the Kambo comes on fully you may feel a variety of physical and energetic sensations. After several minutes you will feel a slight discomfort in your body and stomach as literally decades of toxins are loosened for collection and dejection through the gallbladder and liver into the stomach.
This is usually followed very quickly by a physical purge into the bucket provided for you. The uncomfortable part of the Kambo experience is not the Kambo, it is the toxins your body is releasing. You live with the discomfort every day but don’t notice as much because the negative energy is spread out through the body. Kambo opens the gates and allows the body to get rid of the physical, emotional and mental toxic energies and chemistries that affect our health and life.
Purging can happen on any level physical, emotional and spiritual. Purging can happen via vomiting sweating crying bowel movements and even laughing. You may also need to use the bathroom. You will be assisted to do so if needed.

The entire process will usually take about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the individual. About 5 to 15 minutes of that can be intense while deep purging is happening. After your purge the Kambo dots will be removed and each of the gates will be treated with a drop of "Dragon's blood". Dragon's blood is the sap of a tree from the Amazon that is antiviral, antibacterial and forms a waterproof artificial scab to protect the gate until it heals. Then you will lie back comfortably and rest. As you rest you will notice a sublime peace coming over you. This is what we call the “Kambo glow”. During this integration phase you will lie in a gentle bath of healing do something worthwhilelight sound and vibration technology that washes through you, strengthening your connection to your core and anchoring your intentions for your healing and transformation.
Some people feel infused with energy right away after their session and others feel like they still need to rest. This post treatment rest is deep and restorative in many report the best night sleep in a long time the night after Kambo. Most people feel absolutely amazing the very next day.

Step 1.
A thin glowing ember is used to remove the top layer of skin. This is called "opening the gates"

Kambo After Care
Take it easy
Be gentle with your Kambo Gates.
Anti-depressants, anxiety meds and other meds –unless stated otherwise – can be taken 8 hours after the session.
NO saunas, steam baths, or hot yoga for 24 hours after doing Kambo.
NO water fasts 7 days after Kambo.
NO Colonics, Enemas, liver flushes, or any water-based detox 5 – 7 days after Kambo.
Don’t drink alcohol or smoke weed for 24 hours.
Eat healthy foods and drink normally.

- Have had a psychotic episode in the past 5 years.
- Serious mental health conditions, excluding depression, PTSD and anxiety.
- Lack the mental capacity to decide to take Kambo.
- Seriously low blood pressure that requires medication.
- Anyone recovering from a major surgical procedure.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women with babies under 1-year old.
- Within 21 days of giving birth.
- Under 18 years of age.
- Chemotherapy or radiation treatments of less than 6 weeks prior or 6 weeks afterwards.
CAUTIONS
- People taking dieting or sleeping supplements.
- Active drug or alcohol addiction.
- Crohn’s Disease/Irritible Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
- Colonics, enemas and liver flushes should be avoided within 3 days before and after taking Kambo.
- Water-fasting should be avoided within 7 days before and after taking Kambo *
- Do not consume alcohol or other recreational substances 24-48 hours before or after your treatment.
- During menstruation (Kambo can increase bleeding and cramping and can often cause lightheadedness and sometimes even fainting).
- Asthmatics be sure to bring your inhaler with you.
- Diabetics need to bring insulin, testing strips, and food.
- People taking immune-suppressants for autoimmune disorders;
- Women undergoing fertility treatment
- People with serious eating disorders, i.e. Bulimia or Anorexia;
- People with active drug or alcohol addiction— need to be discussed
- People with abnormally high or low blood pressure
- People with liver or kidney problems
- People who regularly consume diuretic medication or sports drinks.
- Liver Flushes / Colonics / Enemas. Avoid 3 days either side of Kambo.
- Water fasting – allow 7 days before and after Kambo.
- Sauna – allow 2 days before & after
- Sweat-lodges: allow 3 days before & after.
- Bufo (Toad medicine) – Allow 6-8 weeks after taking Bufo. Taking Kambo before Bufo is fine.
Preparing for Kambo
2-3 Days Before Kambo: Eliminate alcohol and recreational drugs. Reduce or eliminate any overly processed, fried, heavy or spicy foods. NO COLONICS, ENEMAS, LIVER FLUSHES, OR WATER FASTING* WITHIN 3 DAYS (BEFORE AND AFTER) OF TAKING KAMBO. *With the exception of the 10-12 hours you will fast, drinking only water, before your Kambo treatment. Do not eat anything for 10-12 hours before ceremony.
Day of Treatment: On treatment day you will fast from food do not eat anything for 10 hours prior to your treatment. You can drink water during the 10 hour fast but not excessively.
What to Bring: Layered clothing for hot and cold temperature fluctuations, A band if you have long hair. Contact lens case with solution added if you wear contacts and choose to receive Sananga eyedrops.
The Kambovia Difference
1. The Application Process
Another difference between Kambovia and most other schools of practice is that we use the most advanced form of Kambo application developed thus far which is the use of fine powderized kambo resin. This makes for far more precise measurements. Our form of Kambo application is nearly 10 times more sustainable than the usual practice of applying the little balls of goo called “dots”. I use the cleanest most professional method you’ll find. It takes more time and practice to learn, some of these techniques, but once mastered they produce a more refined set of results that makes for a cleaner more effective and overall better experience for both the recipient and the practitioner.
2. The Music
I use my own selection of music and healing frequencies instead of traditional Icaros (medicine songs). This is because Icaros really get their power for healing from the shaman who is trained to work with these songs in his own language. They do not have the same healing power when played or sung by a Western practitioner. We find that Kambo works just as well without any music and even better when that music is frequency targeted for the specific well-being of the individual being worked with. So that's what we do.
3. A Deeper Yet More Gentle Experience
With Arrowin and Kambovia you will be doing kambo with a traditional South American beverage called Caicuma. Typically most kambo practitioners in the Western world have their clients drink 2 L of water prior to the application of the kambo. The water in the stomach catches the toxins dumped there from the rest of the body. However it is extremely difficult and unpleasant to drink so much water and the resulting purge is more unpleasant. Instead of water we use a traditional beverage made from cassava or yucca root or other similar root to form a thin soup that coats the stomach. This protects the stomach and makes for a much more gentle experience while allowing the kambo to stay in the body longer and work even deeper with less discomfort.

4. The Integration Phase
As you rest you will notice a sublime peace coming over you. This is what we call the “Kambo glow”. During this integration phase the body is in a state of supreme relaxation. This is the perfect time, with the body & the subconscious mind having just been purged of so much negativity and baggage, to establish new higher order patterns and ways of thinking. At this time, the mind and the bio-energy field are in an ideal state of permeability to your intention & suggestion for positive change to take deep root.
It is during this integration phase that I provide an additional service that brings in my skills as a vibrotactile sound healer and hypnotherapist into play. Once your purging is complete and the Kambo glow is setting in you will lie back on our proprietary EntheoVibe vibrotactile musical massage surface which bathes every single cell in your body in a musical massage that further eliminates toxins and brings deep healing and sensory bliss to the body while the sound of my voice affirms your highest intentions and focus for positive change (as defined by you in our initial consultation). This is far more effective than hypnosis in a typical clinic without the use of kambo. Traditionally Kambo is done in 3 sessions over several days in a moon cycle. Some people choose to do them back-to-back while others choose to stretch it out 28 days. Either way, multiple close Kambo sessions allows the Kambo to work accumulatively, going deeper within the body (physically and emotionally) for profound shifts to take place. Each time you do Kambo in succession you will find yourself more confident and grounded in your capacity to allow the kambo medicina to do its work within you. Not only is there an accumulative effect over the course of 3 days but the ability of the Kambo to go deep grows exponentially.
This is 1 of the deepest cleansings of the physical body and its associated emotions and thought patterns that one can accomplish. Normally to get this type of cleansing would take weeks and weeks of mental and physical ordeal with frequent fasting and subsistence on a strict specialized diet and herbal remedies. The miracle is that Kambo can do all of that in a single session and exponentially more over multiple sessions in close time proximity to each other. It can literally be done couple hours in the morning 3 days in a row. This is a lot easier for many people than spacing out 3 times over a moon cycle.
